Raas or Dandiya Raas is the traditional folk dance form of Gujarat, originated in Vrindavan by Lord Krishna.Along with Garba, it is the featured dance of Navaratri evenings in Western India.
A day workshop on Dandiya and Garba was organized by K.R. Mangalam World school, Faridabad for the mothers of primary wing.The participants enjoyed dancing on some traditional Dandiya and Garba songs.The workshop was a great success and the one who participated got a taste of the Gujarati culture and Navratri.
