Every student loves to get beyond classroom teaching and explore new surroundings. K. R Mangalam World School Faridabad organizes school excursions on a regular basis for its students to provide another dimension to class based learning that help reinforce what has been taught in the classroom. On their trip to Jantar Mantar, students of classes III-V got to learn new things about astronomy in a new environment. The knowledge about ancient science and use of technology in astronomy not only helped to educate the children in a practical manner, but also helped in opening newer path of learning for some. The curious minds delved on the intricacies of the structures and asked relevant questions.
